On November 17th, 2005, a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request was submitted to the United States Department of Agriculture for information pertaining to the Beltex Corporation's horse slaughter plant. On November 11, 2008, this FOIA was finally fulfilled in a CD-Rom containing 906 pages of responsive records dated from January 1, 2005 to November 17, 2005.
